Near the base of Nubben, we saw crocus and swans.
It was a great day for the four hour ferry ride from Moskenes to Bodo.

Farewell to our hostel at Å
Thursday morning we checked out of our hostel at Å. It was a very nice place to stay for a few days. It was great to be able to prepare our own meals in the kitchen, and our room-- with two single beds and a sitting area around a table overlooking the ocean, or more specifically, Vestfjorden--was very nice. It was also great to meet and be around the other people at the hostel. We arrived at the hostel at the same time as a group of young people from the Netherlands who were accompanied by one Norwegian. While we were at the hostel, there were other guests from Japan, Hong Kong, Russia, Turkey, Italy, Germany, and Sweden. Staying at a hostel is inexpensive, whether one chooses the least expensive option of a shared dormitory room or a slightly more expensive private room like we had. In Minnesota, there are two seasons: Winter and Road Construction.
In Norway, there is one season: Road Construction. They do celebrate the Easter holiday, though, by hanging Happy Easter signs on construction equipment.
