We decided to climb Røren in Wednesday's beautiful weather

The photos are taken from our lunchroom atop Røren Wednesday. Røren is a vertical gain of 1066 feet, but is a little less steep than Tuesday's climb to the top of Nubben.       The weather was fantastic--45 degrees F and sunny, though we did still have to cross some snowfields at higher elevations. Unlike with Nubben, I was able to remain standing virtually all of the climb. I believe that this is slightly more a vertical climb than Trygg, Rikke, and I experienced about 3 years ago at Sleeping Giant, but it does not compare to the Grinnell glacier hike the whole family did at Glacier National Park 7 or 8 years ago.
